Vietnam Trip 2010 Part 3

Vietnam Hotdog

Soft and fluffy bun

Vietnamese Ladies

I admired this lady, even without both front teeth, she still manage to enjoy the icy-cool ice cream.

A must-stop destination before heading to Halong Bay

Here you can enjoy the tropical fruits especially their pineapple, it is very delicious! Sweet and sour. Dipped with the salt would be perfect. In my point of view, it tastes as great as the Sarawakian or Johorean pineapples.

My coach

Bananas

Fruits of the day!

Passion fruit

Wondering what was she doing?

Living in Vietnam may be hard for some people , in order to survive in this tough business, this lady boss manage to come out with new ideas to attract customers by wearing high-heels, putting make-up, and even went to the extent of... (photos below will illustrate further)

Waving her hand frantically to the upcoming tourist buses while holding her *equipment*

Can u see that?
No wonder no new customers.

She use that to potong bananas huh?

Vietnam Trip 2010 Part 2

My flight

My plane to Hanoi, Vietnam was small and crowded. The air circulation was not good either. Can be competed with Airasia.

Beautiful lake

Old-school style of fishing

Bus-stand

My hotel

It was a Four-stars hotel. The bed was very huge and was bigger than our local King's size bed. Perhaps, suitable for night activities i think.

Mobile-Flourist in the hustle and bustle of the city

Can u spot me?

In these days and ages, bicycle era has been taken over by the oil-consuming motorcycles. People no longer travel using bicycle as it was influenced by the industrialization and liberation of the country. Vietnam, indeed in the process of becoming one of the fast growth and developed crouching Asian Tigers. Our home country, is far cry from their performance. Their mentality, culture, society are quite identical to the China as it was once under the Chinese rules for thousand of years.

LSY-Pot @ Bandar Puteri, Puchong

Located same row with Hong Leong Bank
(Plenty of carparks available)

Claypot Lou Shu Fun

Nice to see,
Nice to smell,
Once eaten, considered ok only lo.

Claypot Chicken Rice

Most of claypots were heated under the flaming hot fire of charcoals (old-school style). The chicken cube was well marinated and the meat was tender but not given enough, a little stingy here. It was less aromatic compared to other stalls due to the amount of ikan masin was scarce. However, the rice was fairly cooked, just nice! This dish is recommendable as the chicken was delicious!

Sang Choi

All in all, the price is quite reasonable.

LSY Pot

Hong Kong 香港

It was a clear blue sky.

The air was cool and breezy.
Birds were chirping.
People were walking swiftly.

Kowloon Mosque

Located in the hustle and bustle of the Hong Kong city. The mosque is an impressive pure white marble building, situated at the junction of Nathan Road and Cameron Road in Tsim Sha Tsui.

I admired the Hongkies for their level of tolerance and acceptance towards other religions. In fact, the ethnic and cultural mix of people is partly what makes Hong Kong an interesting place to visit.

Where can you find such a pure and peaceful mosque in the heart of a city? During prayers time on Friday, there are no illegal parking along the roadsides that will cause a traffic-jam nor illegal stalls that sell keropoks or beverages that contained high level of sugar and colouring, whereas back "home". You name "it", they got "it"

Last Christmas @ Jogoya

Fresh and juicy oyster

Unlimited supply of oysters from the seafood counter.

Fried-inoki

Stir-fried the inoki under the hot flame of teppanyaki. Doesn't failed to impressed me.

Mini Lobster

Abit disappointed with this dish. Not fresh and resulted the meat to be soggy.

Lamb shank

The lamb shank was seasoned with herbs and spices, giving it a very aromatic flavour. On top of that, having not forgot the tenderness of the meat. Each bite was heavenly and chewy.

Baked-Hokkaido long legged crab

Dish of the day, the baked hokkaido crab. It was baked with cheese and topped with sauce which was savoury and little sweet. It was definitely succulent and delicious.

Japanese Buffet @ Umai-Ya, Damansara Utama

Yum cha!

California Cheese Maki

In my point of view, i think u must try this! once u put this thing into your mouth. Full with strong flavour. Have "Want-Summore" factor in it. It has a layer of cheese in between of the unagi and sushi.

Salmon Sashimi

Came in big slices. Fresh and juicy!

Dragon Maki

Fried-unagi

Taufu pok?

No no. Neither is my flavourite fu-zhok!

Crispy taufu filled with seafood

Grilled Mackerel

My favourite fish of all in the menu. The fish was fresh and still have a little moisture on the flesh after it was grilled. At the end of the day, we ordered 5 plates of this

Teriyaki Chicken

Shishamo

Beef dicucuk!

Stewed Beef-cube

The gravy is thick and flavoured. Best served with a bowl of rice man...
